January 4th of this year started kidding season with a real surprise. Patti decided to surprise me with a colorful doe kid. Much earlier than I anticpated but we greeted her with wows and have you ever seen so many spots!! It would seem that “Hot Rod” was maturing faster than I thought he would and this doe was 3 months earlier than I had anticipated. OK…I was never that great at math anyway!
We have now moved into April and have 11 kids with more to come by the end of the month.
